On 8 August 2026 , one of Calabria 's most eagerly awaited gastronomic events returns: the 'Nduja di Spilinga Festival , this year in its 50th edition! The absolute protagonist is 'nduja , the famous Calabrian sausage made from pork and chilli pepper, with its intense and unmistakable flavour, which has become one of the culinary symbols of the region. During the event, you can savour it in many recipes, from sandwiches to typical dishes, discover Spilinga 's food and wine specialities, and purchase local handicraft products. The streets of the historic centre will come alive with popular music, folk shows, cultural meetings on the production of 'nduja , and moments of celebration for the entire community.
