In August 2026, the Brancaleone Summer Experience returns with a series of expert-led guided walks designed to uncover the hidden gems of the region. This immersive journey takes residents and visitors through the historic villages of Brancaleone Vetus, Staiti, and Bruzzano Zeffirio—places deeply connected by history, memory, and local identity. Each itinerary is curated by experts to offer unique perspectives on the Middle Ages, local legends, feudal history, and the enduring traditions of the communities that shaped this land. The highlight of the experience is the exploration of Brancaleone Vetus, an atmospheric abandoned village of immense historical and scenic value, where themed trails reveal its architectural wonders, mysteries, and the captivating stories etched into its ruins.
